Edward Baxter
Who am I and what’s my swimming background?
I’m Edward Baxter, I am a retired swimmer, I swam competitively between the ages of 6 and 21.
During my swimming career I was Commonwealth Youth Games Champion, British Record Holder and multiple British National Champion in the 200 Breaststroke. I swam my junior years at Cockermouth Swimming Club and at age 18 I transitioned to the British Swimming Loughborough National Training Centre under the coaching of Mel Marshall.
I still work very closely with Mel on external projects.
I am a qualified Swimming Teacher and Level 2 Swimming Coach. Over my career I have taught/coached over 1000 hours of training to all level of swimmers from beginners to an International standard.
